ObjectFX Corporation

ObjectFX Corporation was a software company developing a platform to integrate data from multiple sources into visual, dynamic enterprise solutions for applications in transportation, telecommunications, logistics, business-to-business electronic commerce and public sector marketplaces. St. Paul Venture Capital was a co-investor. Brookwood initially invested in ObjectFX in 2000 and we sold our interest in 2011.

WebPartner

WebPartner was a business-to-business application service provider that provided web site monitoring and analysis services and customer experience management solutions to businesses conducting e-commerce. Brookwood was the lead investor with co-investors including Alpine Technology Ventures and ECFactory (a joint venture of Toyo Information Systems and Softbank Technology Corporation).  Brookwood initially invested in WebPartner in 1999 and we sold our interest in 2008.

Adfluence, Inc.

Adfluence, Inc. was an Advertising Application Service Provider ("AASP") that provided advertisers with a unique interactive ad format that delivered a significant increase in digital marketing performance. Adfluence's AASP model enabled dynamic ad content updating, real-time ad content targeting, live product/pricing data, consumer data capture and validation and two-way communication between the consumer and the advertiser.  Brookwood initially invested in Adfluence in 2002 and we sold our interest in 2008.

BeNow, Inc.

 
BeNow, Inc. was a database-driven provider of fully integrated customer relationship management services to companies with extensive one-to-one communications requirements. BeNow's core service was building and maintaining marketing databases and providing ongoing data servicing and analytical services for its clients to maximize the effectiveness of their customer relationships. Brookwood purchased BeNow in 2002 and we sold the company to Equifax Inc. in 2005.

IP Communications, Inc.

 
IP Communications, Inc. was a competitive local exchange carrier that provided broadband data communications services via digital subscriber line (DSL) technology to residential and business users within the geographic territory serviced by SBC Communications, Inc. Co-investors included VantagePoint Ventures; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; Desai Capital Management, Inc.; CIBC and GE Capital. Brookwood invested in IP Communications in 2000 and the company was sold in 2002.

UbiquiTel Inc.

 
UbiquiTel Inc. (NASDAQ:UPCS) was a Sprint PCS affiliate established to construct and operate a Sprint PCS wireless network in selected markets in the western and midwestern United States. The company went public in August 2000. Co-investors included The Walter Group, CBT Wireless, Lancaster Partners and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Brookwood invested in UbiquiTel in 1999 and the company went public in 2000.

New World Restaurant Group, Inc.

 
New World Restaurant Group, Inc. (OTC: NWCI) was a vertically integrated restaurant company that operated and franchised quick, casual restaurants in 33 states under six independent brands including Einstein Bros., Noah's New York Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, Chesapeake Bagel Bakery, New World Coffee and Willoughby's Coffee & Tea. Brookwood invested in New World in 2000 and we sold our interest in 2003.
